CAE ICCU is an interactive, e-learning curriculum for rapid mastery of ultrasound exams and procedures, including the Focused Cardiac Ultrasound Exam (FOCUS), ultrasound-guided central venous access, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and the assessment of blood vessels, pleural spaces and lungs. In addition to web-based curriculum, CAE ICCU offers collaborative learning, onsite training seminars and a FOCUS exam pocket guide for the iPod or iPad. The CAE ICCU e-Learning curriculum is designed to conform to international ultrasound training guidelines. It is endorsed by the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) and the Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS).
